The Fourth Annual Jawa/CZ/Yezdi Day is scheduled for Sunday July 9th 2006.

Individual Clubs and groups will be organizing runs and events to celebrate the bikes and the history of Jawa, CZ and Yezdi motorcycles.

The Third Annual Jawa/CZ/Yezdi Day will be Saturday May 14, 2005.

The North American Jawa/CZ Register will coordinate the event this year which will occur during our Sixth Annual Gathering in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Vic Simmons is hosting a website to gather and publish participants pictures and stories of the event.

I would like to ask that the Jawa/CZ/Yezdi clubs in the various countries publicize the event and assemble "ride reports" for transmittal to me in batches, and, forgive my Americaness, in English. People are encouraged to take pictures, make videos, and submit full accounts of their adventures that day. Remember, it's a world-wide 'virtual rally' and celebrates how important these machines are and have been to us. We will host a website for the event, but I do not have the details about that firmed up quite yet. Help spread the word that summer begins early this year for Jawa/CZ/Yezdi owners this year!

If you have any suggestions or thoughts about all this, please let me hear from you. If you helped gather and then transmit "ride Reports" for our first Jawa/CZ/Yezdi Day, please let me know if you can do so again. I hope we will have a good turn out this May 14!

2nd International Jawa-Cz Day - 12th June, 2004

On 12th June, 2004, all Jawa, CZ and Yezdi owners all over the world are once again invited to ride their motorcycles to show how popular these two stroke machines still are!

The point of the day is to show the world again how many of these Czech, and Czech-inspired, motorcycles are still in use all over the world.

It’s an extra special year in 2004 as the Jawa factory will be celebrating 75 years of motorcycle production, and the UK Jawa Cz Owners club will have been together for 50 years and is holding its annual rally over this weekend.

To join in, all that an owner of one of these fine motorcycles has to do is ride it, and then report the ride to one of the addresses below. If you have more than one Jawa/CZ/Yezdi, ride them all and report that! If you can take a photograph of you and your machine(s) do so, and send that in, too! If you ride more than one machine on 12th June, be sure to tell us how many you rode.

Set aside 12th June, 2004 to "ride and report". Let's see how many machines we can get on the roads of the world that day!

The UK Club will be staging its mass bike run from the rally site, on 12th June at 10.30am GMT and travel approximately 50 miles or 80km if you wish to ‘ride with us’ !

Last year the total was 230 from 19 countries, lets see if we can double that number in this special year. We want everyone to know our machines are alive and well!

50 years of JAWA CZ Owners Clubbing in the UK

As you know I'm sure, next year [2004] we here in the UK will be holding an International Rally to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Owners Club here in Britain, and 75 years since the production of the first Jawa. Please let all your members know about it, as if any wanted to attend and also have a holiday in the UK there are loads of members who would only be too please to help and assist, in fact it would be an ideal time for us to show our American cousins around our country. I'm sure details of the event which is to take place from June 10th - 14th 2004 will be on our Club WebSite soon.
